Fasting Health

Intermittent Fasting enables the body to divert prioritised energy and resources away from food digestion, to repair the body and heal diseases. The body should not be fed for at least 12 hours, after which body repair functions commences. Greater than >18 hours fasting enables cell “autophagy”, the dismantling and recycling of old cells for regeneration of new cells, keeping you younger and living longer. Stem cells are regenerated. Your hormonal regulation is rectified to its natural state.

What is Permaculture?

Today, modern industrial agriculture degrades and destroys top soils globally at an alarming rate, by going aginst the laws of nature. Destroying soils by killing all life in soil then adding artifical fertilisers and chemicals to grow plants at alarming diminishing returns. Top soil is the basis for ALL life on earth! Destorying soils for short term super-profits, risks global famine, food scarcity and insecurity leading to war and enslavement of people and nations. Beneficial only for banking, agri and chemical industries, profiteering at the expense of people’s lives and thier servitude.

Permaculture focuses on solutions instead of the problems. It goes beyond sustainability and into resilience. Working with natural systems to create productive eco systems that provide all the basic needs of humanity, delivering abundance as opposed to scarcity.

Roof Pitch

Roof pitch for solar panels at 28° to be calculated at:

  • Right angle Triangle calculator
  • 1.5m higher centre over side posts offers: 2.8m width to side, pitched at 28°.
  • 1.6m higher … offers: 3m width …
  • 2.1m higher … offers: 4m width …

Caravan Deck

Prepare all posts wood timber treatment against damp rot, fungus and termites.

  • 6m x 3m deck with cover.
  • 3m x 3m deck sections:
    • 4 beam frame.
    • Joists, w/2 hangers each.
      • 6 EVEN joists every 430mm apart.
      • [ | I | | I | ]  but horizontally! OR
      • 7 ODD joists 375mm apart. Never more than 450mm apart.
        • [ | | | I | | | ]  but horizontally!
    • held by min; 12 EVEN or 9 ODD Support Posts in-ground. OR 1 post per joist through the middle.
    • Joist Bridges to spread load to nearest Support Posts, through middle.

Roof

  • Thick Posts may be spaced long upto 6m apart. Depth is impacted by roof pitch and need for solar panel mounting if required.
  • Allow +10cm buffer on measurements to trim down after setting in.
  • Calcs for roof pitch for solar panels, if needed/viable.
    • 4.8m (level ground) Centre posts sunk 1m; w/ 3.8m above ground. 1.6m higher than side posts for a 3m span.
      • Solar panel pitched roof and this post Heights may be unfeasible, due to southern coastal wind risks. Requiring posts and roof truss to sit just 50cm above caravan and separate steel frame on roof for panel angling.
    • 3.2m (+gradient delta: ~4m?) Front posts sunk 90cm; w/ 2.2m above ‘level’ ground deck. (Ideally >2.4m above level ground deck)
  • Affix with:
    • 30cm Rebar with auger to pin together posts.
    • Metal strapping to secure joints and cross bracing.
    • Fence wire bracing supports.
  •  Roof bracing every xm

Reviving a Dead Battery with a Welder

Often old dead lead acid batteries may be too damaged to start a vehicle, but may be revived and suitable enough for solar recharge to run small devices around the property. Such as security cameras, lights, sensors, mobile phones, small pumps, irrigation solenoids, wifi relays, smart IoT, Raspberry Pi’s, etc.

This may be a highly dangerous method and should not be attempted without full awareness of all the risks and safety gear and precautions to avoid injury and explosions.

Living Fence

A living fence or a green fence uses natural growing vegetation as a fence barrier.

Tree Posts

Using trees as living fence posts saves you time and money when putting up a fence. A disadvantage is you don’t get to pick where the posts should go and you can’t be obsessed with straight lines.

Take a pressure treated board and attach that to the tree, then add your fence hardware to the board that you’ve attached to the tree. What that does is it allows the tree to grow against the board without consuming all that hardware over time.
