Design
Structure should allow for:
- Tractor height greater than 2.8m at sides.
- High cube shipping container:
- Height greater than 2.9m at sides.
- Wider than 2.6m inbetween poles.
- Length >12m.
- +50cm Eaves, (if applicable), of 40cm eaves with +10cm depth for gutters. To protect sides from heavy rains
- Roof pitch for solar panels at 28° to be calculated at:

- 1.5m higher centre over side posts offers: 2.8m width to side, pitched at 28°.
- 1.6m higher … offers: 3m width …
- 2.1m higher … offers: 4m width …
Dimensions: assumed on level ground.
- Posts may be spaced long upto 6m apart. Width is determined by roof pitch and need for solar panel mounting.
- 5.6m Centre posts sunk 1m, w/ 4.6m above ground, (pending roof pitch calc for solar panels, if needed?).
- 4m Side posts sunk 90cm, w/ 3.1m above ground.
- 30cm Rebar with auger to pin together posts.
- Metal strapping to secure joints.
- Roof bracing every 6m for plastic sheet roof.
- Fence wire for roof supports every 30cm, using a eyelet screw as a wre tightener
